June 28, 2018 | Walt Disney Co. is shuffling its executive ranks as it prepares to launch its streaming video service, a key initiative by the company to remain a dominant entertainment player in the digital age.
The Burbank-based studio on Thursday put its film marketing president, Ricky Strauss, in charge of content and marketing for its streaming initiative, which is expected to launch next year in a bid to compete with the growing field of online players.
