Dr. Kejo Archer is a Media Technology trailblazer and leader of extraordinary teams. She is the Vice President of Global Studio Licensing Content Servicing at Warner Bros Discovery.

Kejo’s many expertise include:

  • Planning Global New Ventures, Technology Operations, Content Aggregation, Digital Media Transformation, Content Security Assurance, Vendor Management and Global Distribution.
  • Directing the creation, archiving, and repurposing of original foreign language audio & video masters.
  • Overseeing technology budgets, timeline projections, asset research, and requirements to technologically onboard partners for new and evolving business deals.
  • Executing digital delivery workflows for original programming content on global media platforms, including television, electronic sell-through, mobile, internet, and on-demand subscription video (including MAX global expansion).
  • Decision-making for corporate software development initiatives impacting global content distribution.
  • She is directly responsible for delivering all brands of Warner Media content (HBO, Turner, CNN, Warner Bros, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Discovery, etc.) for license deals tied to billions of dollars in revenue.

Kejo has over 25 years of experience in broadcast & media with expertise in technical onboarding and has launched hundreds of new digital services worldwide and content delivery across all seven continents in 20+ countries in over 46 languages to 1,500+ worldwide services and destinations.

Before joining Warner Bros Discovery over twenty years ago when HBO hired her, Kejo worked in Interstitial Media Planning, Commercial Operations, and On-Air Continuity at several companies, including Showtime Networks, NBC Cable (MSNBC, CNBC), and USA Networks (USA, Sci-Fi Channel). In addition, she’s served as an educator and has experience as an adjunct professor of technical writing.

Kejo was previously Co-Chair of the Technology and Operations Committee at DEG (Digital Entertainment Group), representing Warner Media, now known as Warner Bros Discovery. Accolades include featured speaker “Stand Out Stories of Brilliance” for Working Mother Magazine national conference.

Kejo’s years of leadership include Past President, Board of Directors at Rutgers University School of Communication and Information Alumni Association, & Commencement Speaker in that role. On behalf of Warner Media, she was nominated and completed the Senator Gillibrand Mentorship Program, in which she partnered with top executives at Fortune 500 companies across NYC. Kejo has represented Warner Media Technology at numerous public events, including Digital Diversity Network’s “Women of Color in Technology,” the Council of Urban Professionals (CUP USA) Executive Leadership Program, and the Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) Executive Career Advancement Program.

Kejo is an award-winning executive nominated on behalf of AT&T & Warner Media and won the “Technology All-Star” award in 2021 for Women of Color in STEM. She led her team to win the 2022 DEG’s Multi-Company Collaboration award and the “People’s Choice” award, which was nominated and voted for by the Media and Technology Operations industry.

Kejo has earned an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Temple University in Philadelphia. She was accepted into Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program and received a Certificate in Women’s Leadership. Also, while working at Warner Media, Kejo earned a Master of Arts Degree in Media Studies (concentration in Video Production & Media Management) at New School University located in New York City, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism & Mass Media from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. In addition, she has completed several corporate training programs, including Managing for Excellence Project Management, with certifications in Scrum Master and PMP, in addition to Corporate Finance training programs.

She has participated in several professional organizations, including Women of Warner (WOW), The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences as an Emmy voter, the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers (SMPTE), Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), and Council of Urban Professionals (CUP). Kejo is a philanthropist on the Board of Directors at S.E.A.L. Special Ed Arts & Literacy, providing technology and leadership mentorship for youth and women’s empowerment. She has rebuilt homes as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and was a board member for the non-profit “Healing & Helping Women in Our Communities.”

Kejo Archer was born on April 15 and raised in New Jersey. Her hobbies include reading, inspiring a positive mindset, and meditating. She encourages people to be the best in everything they do, love unconditionally, smile often, and always keep an optimistic outlook. She is grateful to have published a mini book of hope, “Modern Miracles Happen Everyday,” available on Amazon Kindle.
