Leadership is not about a corner office, a title or having a large team. It’s about the willingness to step up and put yourself out there. This program is for anyone who considers themselves a leader and wants to work on themselves, increase their effectiveness and build their courage.
This one-day program is largely based on the work of Dr. Brené Brown, whose playbook for developing brave leaders and courageous cultures, Dare to Lead, posits that:
1. You can’t get to courage without embracing vulnerability.
2. Self-awareness and self-love matter, because who we are is how we lead.
3. Courage is contagious
The day’s activities will be led by Sarah Haddon, Xperi VP Organizational Development & Learning, and a certified Dare to Lead facilitator.
In advance of attending the program, participants will be asked to do some light prework identifying their personal values and reflecting on recent leadership challenges.
