Fresh Off Time Warner Deal, AT&T Plans Aggressive Content Strategy [WSJ]

June 15, 2018 | In an interview one day after AT&T Inc. closed on its $81 billion purchase of Time Warner Inc., John Stankey, the executive tasked with overseeing the entertainment giant’s assets, said the company will be aggressive when it comes to acquiring content and building new ways to reach viewers.

“Everybody agrees that the right thing for our business is to step up investment in content and distribution platforms,” Mr. Stankey said in an interview on Friday.
