October 17, 2022 | This year Media Play News has selected 18 women leaders, up from 15 last year. The growing number of “captains” can be attributed to both the healthy and welcome fact that more and more women are joining Hollywood’s executive ranks, as well as the continued broadening of what is considered “home entertainment” due to the proliferation of distribution channels. Four of them, or 22%, are new to the list.
